highly recommended Bed and Breakfast..
Silkmore is ideally located being close to London - 45 minutes by train, just 6 miles north of
the historic town of Guildford and its many attractions. Three National Trust
Houses are all within a few miles; Clandon Park, Hatchlands House and Polesden Lacey as well as RHS Wisley
Gardens. Heathrow and Gatwick airports are 30 minutes’ drive.
Silkmore boutique style Bed and Breakfast is a pretty Grade 11 listed house
dating back to 1550. Formerly the village smokehouse, it has been beautifully
restored as a comfortable, friendly family home. The house has great charm
retaining many original features, set in large gardens down a quiet lane in
West Horsley village overlooking the magnificent Surrey open countryside and
within a few minutes’ walk to two traditional English pubs. The bedrooms are light and airy, stylishly
decorated with wonderful views of the gardens and unspoilt English countryside
beyond.
We serve delicious traditional Full English or
Continental breakfasts using a variety of local and home made produce. If you
would like to treat yourself to Afternoon Tea with homemade cakes and scones,
