West Horsley is a traditional English country village offering peace and tranquillity and yet within easy access of London and Guildford. There are a couple of pubs within a few minutes’ walk from Silkmore, a childrens’ playground, public tennis courts, a post office and general store and a Church famed as the supposed resting place for Sir Walter Raleigh’s head. It is an ideal spot for keen walkers and cyclists. East Horsley is a couple of miles away and has a range of shops, a library with internet access, banks, Railway Station ‘ Horsley’ together with a range of restaurants offering Italian, Indian and Chinese food and a take away service. Horse riding, tennis and golf facilities.
